Taylor, Mich. (June 23, 2011) - Masco Bath, a Masco company,
recently launched INNOVEX™, a material technology that makes bathing
systems attractive, strong and easy to install. It will be available in
Lowe's® stores nationwide beginning in July.

Masco Bath launched the first Delta® Styla™ tub/shower made of
Acrylic with INNOVEX technology at Lowe's as part of a regional test of
236 stores late in the fourth quarter of 2010.
"Unit sales in the test markets are up 5 percent versus gelcoat" said
Bill Hughes, vice president of sales for Masco Bath. "Even more
impressive is the fact that this product sells at a $70 premium above
our current gelcoat product. Due to the test's overwhelming success,
Lowe's has decided to expand the Delta Styla™ family to five models with
a national roll out."
Acrylic with INNOVEX technology is a proprietary combination of a
microcellular core with a rigid, smooth polyurethane backing. When fused
with a thick acrylic surface, the application creates a strong and
damage-resistant material that is easy to transport, install and
maintain.
INNOVEX is certified by the GREENGUARD® Environmental Institute for
indoor air quality and meets its more stringent GREENGUARD Children and
SchoolsSM criteria. The Delta Styla family of bathtubs and showers is
the first produced using Acrylic with INNOVEX technology, and the first
bathing product to be GREENGUARD certified.
The spacious, contemporary design of the Delta Styla with its rounded
corners offers generous shelving and extra interior space. The
high-luster acrylic surface is more durable and up to eight times
thicker than current gelcoat surfaces.
For do-it-yourselfers, the one-piece system installs quickly and
easily. Systems made with INNOVEX are up to 35 percent lighter than a
comparable gelcoat unit for easier handling.
