Bad Zwischenahn, Germany (May 17, 2011) - The "Hüppe Studio
Paris," the world's first shower enclosure with chrome glass decor, was
recognized with a 2011 Interior Innovation Award by an international
jury of designers and media representatives. The shower was also
featured in the Boulevard of Innovations special exhibition at the imm
cologne 2011/LivingKitchen trade fair, organized by the German Design
Council, January 18-23, in Cologne, Germany.
"This is one of the most highly valued design prizes in the
international furnishing sector and we are thrilled to have been
recognized as a winner by the German Design Council," said Christian
Stoermer of Hüppe.
The jury of designers and industry experts assessed the Hüppe shower
enclosures based on a variety of factors, including: utility,
functionality and ease of operation, degree of innovation, aesthetics,
ergonomics, longevity and the overall concept, among others. The awards
span multiple categories, from furniture to office and workplace to
