Taylor, Mich. (November 21, 2011) -Patricia Urquiola, designer for Axor®, the luxury brand of Masco company Hansgrohe®, has been named one of Interior Design magazine's newest Hall of Fame Inductees. Established in 1985 by Interior Design,
the Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made significant
contributions to the growth and prominence of the design industry.
Urquiola joins other Axor designers Antonio Citterio and Philippe Starck
in the Hall of Fame.
The Spanish-born Urquiola, who fashioned the Axor Urquiola bathroom
collection, will be honored along with three other elite designers at
the magazine's 27th annual Hall of Fame award ceremonies Nov.
30 at New York City's Waldorf-Astoria hotel. More than 1,200 guests
from the design industry will honor the new inductees, who are selected
by previous Hall of Fame members.
